Network Performing Arts Production Workshop 2017

The 2017 edition of the Network Performing Arts Production workshop (NPAPW17) was held on 3-5 April 2017 in Copenhagen, Denmark. The workshop’s programme was mainly focused on education – teaching, learning and auditioning using the research networks. On the last day of the workshop, special attention was given to the creative use of technology, such as rowing machine and flute duet, composed especially for this event.

This year, a special “Performing Arts and Advanced Networking 101” session was offered before the beginning of the main programme. The session was designed primarily for those, who were joining the workshop for the first time.

The next Network Performing Arts Production Workshop took place in Copenhagen, Denmark on 3-5 April 2017, co-hosted by the Royal Danish Academy of Music, supported by DeiC.

The workshop was organised by GÉANT and Internet2, supported by GARR (Italy), CSUC (Barcelona, Spain), Royal College of Music (London, UK), JISC (UK), CESNET (Czech Republic) and Manhattan School of Music (USA).
